1. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT. When you  view content provided by us, we automatically collect information about your computer hardware and software. This information can include your IP address, browser type, domain names, internet service provider (ISP), the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, clickstream data, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used by Work Design for the operation of the Subscription Service, to maintain quality of the Subscription Service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Work Design Magazine Website. For these purposes, we do link this automatically-collected data to Personal Information such as name, email address, address, and phone number. The personal information we collect at workdesign.com falls into three categories: • information voluntarily supplied by visitors to the site when they access resources, which may include name, postal address, industry type, and e-mail address• internal tracking information gathered as visitors navigate through our website (known as “cookies”); and • information supplied by visitors to the site when they upload or provide images or stories to the site.

2. USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. Workdesign.com understands the importance of privacy and confidentiality to users of this site. Workdesign.com does not sell or otherwise share personal information with third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy. Your personal information collected through this site is used solely for the purpose of providing you with the information and links you request, including, without limitation, providing you with access to articles, stories, case studies, polls/surveys and images. If you provide us with your name and your email address, we may e-mail you regarding updates, or if requested send you newsletters, special offers and perks, or reminders. You have the opportunity to opt-out of receipt of such e-mails from workdesign.com through a link at the bottom of every e-mail. Workdesign.com offers the ability to forward an article to another person via e-mail. We will use the recipient’s email address in order to send the article and we will also ask for your email address. We do not use the recipient’s email address for any other purpose unless such recipient gives us permission to so.

In addition to the uses identified elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we may use your Personal Information to:

We use the information collected through our Subscription Service by our customers for the following purposes:

  • to provide the Subscription Service (which may include the detection, prevention and resolution of security and technical issues);

  • otherwise to fulfill the obligations under the Work Design Customer Terms of Service.

Social Media Features

Our Website includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, such as the Share This button or interactive mini-programs that run on our sites. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our sites, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Website. This Privacy Policy does not apply to these features.  Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy and other policies of the companies providing them.

3. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION WE COLLECT.

Service Providers

We employ other companies and people to provide services to visitors to our Website, our customers, and users of the Subscription Service and may need to share your information with them to provide information, products or services to you. Examples may include removing repetitive information from lists, analyzing data or performing statistical analysis, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, supplementing the information you provide us in order to provide you with better service, and providing customer service or support. Work Design Magazine Partners

In addition, we may share data with trusted partners to contact you based on your request to receive such communications, help us perform statistical analysis, or provide customer support. We partner with trusted third parties to provide you with co-marketing content that we think may be relevant to you. These co-marketing partners are required to adhere to our privacy and data protection policies.

Corporate Events

7. SURVEYS, COMPETITIONS, AND CONTESTS From time to time, our site requests information from Users via surveys, competitions, or contests. Participation in these surveys, competitions, or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name, email address, company, etc.) and sometimes demographic information. The same contact information provided will be used to notify the winners (i.e., false information may result in workdesign.com’s inability to notify a winner accordingly).
