The Bay Area design boom is about so much more than just the “office of the future.” On Wednesday, November 19 from 2:00-3:00 PM EDT, Collin Burry, an award-winning design director with Gensler San Francisco, will walk us through the design process for clients such as Facebook, Autodesk, Airbnb, and 888 Brannan (among others). Collin will share with us what designers and architects can learn from the tech sector, and how it will help us prepare for the workplace paradigm shift that’s upon us.

The event is AIA/CES certified. Learning objectives include:

  • What tech companies already know about the transformational paradigm shift that’s upon us in the way they work and their openness to blurring the lines between work and life.
  • Learn about healthier approaches to the things we see in our own workplaces and projects.
  • How the mind-numbing success of Bay Area tech companies is making (and will continue to make) an economic impact on people and workplaces across the country.
  • How designers and architects can approach the workplace with the same sense of creativity and reinvention that’s behind the rapid growth and innovation of startups and tech companies.

We hope you’ll be able to join us! Tickets are available here. If you have any questions, please email Katie Sargent, our PR, marketing, and events coordinator at [email protected].
