Didhiti Bhoumik

Didhiti is the senior director of project and vendor management offices and office services at McCarthy Tétrault LLP and has more than 15 years of experience in outsourcing, vendor and contract management, operational finance, enterprise facilities strategy, and program and change management in a variety of industries. She is a strategist and program executive who Identifies issues, implements actions, and gets dynamic results. A passionate and trusted leader with Canadian, US, and international experience, Didhiti has helped organizations to improve efficiency, efficacy, and business results through the leadership and delivery of large and complex programs and strategic vendor partnerships. Didhiti has two masters degree from Oklahoma State University and certified in vendor and project management. She is also an active member of Project Management Institute.

Sheila Botting
Partner & Canadian Real Estate Leader, Deloitte

Sheila Botting is a partner and Canadian real estate leader for Deloitte, as well as the global financial services real estate leaders. She is responsible for Deloitte Canada’s full service offering to the real estate industry, including real estate services for other clients. She was also responsible for Deloitte’s corporate real estate program that led the transformation of the firm’s office 1.7 million square foot office portfolio across Canada. Sheila is renowned for her knowledge and expertise in commercial real estate, working with many clients in the public and private sector across Canada and around the globe. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and author of numerous articles about leading edge trends, ideas, innovation and opportunities. Sheila has provided extensive real estate expertise to corporations, government, real estate companies, investors, pension funds, and others involved in the industry. Prior to Deloitte, Sheila was an executive managing director with Cushman & Wakefield, leading a key Canadian business, and a partner in the global firm.

Tracie Crook,
Chief Operating Officer, McCarthy Tétrault LLP

Recognized as a results-driven change strategist, Tracie Crook is COO at McCarthy Tétrault LLP, one of Canada’s leading national law firms. Tracie joined McCarthy’s in 2011 to help the 150-year-old institution transform its operations and create a world-class delivery team for the future. By tailoring her unique Blueprint for Change to the evolving needs of this law firm and its national and global clients, she oversaw a multi-year transformation program to introduce a new service delivery model, apply technology solutions and process redesign to drive collaboration, innovation, and efficiency. Prior to McCarthy’s, Tracie honed her reputation as a top leader of change while serving as President and CEO of ResMor Trust Company, a federally regulated mortgage provider.

Bill Dowzer
Principal, BVN

Bill Dowzer is a Principal of BVN, an award-winning Australian architectural practice with an international footprint and a global reputation for design leadership and innovation. As an agile design studio with a unique ability to apply “translational” thinking across sectors, BVN’s broad portfolio is testament to the practice’s ability to constantly evolve to suit contemporary needs and expectations. Bill is a leader in workplace design and a champion of BVN’s “collective creation” approach, underpinned by a belief that great workplaces are not about the space alone, but the about people and the making of “place”. He is currently leading the start-up of BVN’s New York studio and has a strong interest in the design and impact of co-working and dynamic workplace environments. He is currently working with Liquidspace, Westfield, and GPT on environments for new economy businesses.

Nada Farah
Senior Manager, Workplace Strategy, Bank of Montreal

Nada is a senior manager responsible for strategy and planning for BMO’s major buildings in Ontario and this includes integrating the design office standards as well as mobility in all premises related projects. She also manages the occupancy for Canadian office towers.

David Jones
Executive Producer/Principal Program Manager, Office Envisioning Microsoft

David is an executive producer and principal program manager in the Office Envisioning team at Microsoft. He explores how new technologies may change the way we live and work 5-10 years in the future, and builds prototypes and videos to bring these ideas to life. A 20+ year veteran of the computer industry, David has a rich background in strategic foresight, innovation, human-centric design, and product development. Past projects include Microsoft Excel and the Tablet PC, Microsoft’s Envisioning Center and Productivity Future Vision videos, and the Changing World of Work documentary series in partnership with PopTech. David is originally from Montreal, Quebec and holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Management Science from the University of Waterloo. He currently lives in Bellevue, Washington.

Ian Morley
Co-Founder & Chief Evangelist, Serraview

Ian is both co-founder and Chief Evangelist for Serraview. Ian helped develop the play-book for Space Management in Australia, and in 2013 moved to New York to help our large North American customers achieve similar savings.

Philip Ross
Futurologist & CEO, Cordless Group & UNWORK

Philip is an author, consultant, and commentator specializing in the future of work. He predicts the way that new trends and forces such as emerging technology will shape how we work, live, learn, and enjoy leisure. He has written a number of books on the future of cities, work and workplace including The Creative Office, The 21st Century Office, and Space to Work (all co-authored with Jeremy Myerson). He has also contributed to a number of other books including The Corporate Fool and The Responsible Workplace.

Lorri Rowlandson
Senior Vice President, Strategic Solutions at Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions (GIS)

Lorri has nearly 20 years’ experience as a professional in both outsourcing and real estate, most notably working with major corporations such as Brookfield GIS, IBM, BMO, and P1 Consulting, one of Canada’s leading real estate consulting firms. Lorri is a highly sought-after public speaker across many industry associations including IFMA, CoreNET, CORE, and OSCRE. She has participated in over 30 speaking engagements, including keynote speeches, on emerging trends, innovation and thought leadership in real estate. Lorri’s influence across the real estate sector and beyond is further demonstrated through her presence across social media channels with 8,000+ followers across Twitter and LinkedIn.

Peter Smit
Founder, Collabogence

Peter Smit is the founder of Collabogence, an organization committed to measuring organizational collaborative performance, helping them understand the collaborative balance of people, processes and tools, and improve their performance. Peter has lived in seven countries, speaks four languages, and currently lives in Toronto, Canada. He holds a BA in Economics from Middlebury College in Vermont and an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in Washington, D.C. He has worked for and consulted to large global companies, including Honeywell, Siemens, Motorola, Tellabs, and Opentext. He has also worked with numerous early stage technology companies. The common thread has always been orchestrating cross-functional resources, scattered around the globe, to work together toward a common end: collaboration. He also teaches a course on collaboration to fourth year students at the University of Toronto.
