We are excited to announce that our third Work Design webinar will take place on Tuesday, July 15 from 11:00-12:00 PM EDT. Our presenters will be Steven Bernstein, Program Director – Strategic Portfolio Planning & Workplace at Faithful+Gould, John Campbell, Principal at Francis Cauffman, and Ray Milora, Head of Design and Change Management and Worldwide Real Estate & Facilities at GSK. They will be discussing their work on GSK’s Navy Yard office and sharing the lessons they’ve learned one year since moving in.

This is the first time we’ll re-visit a project in-depth after featuring it as a part of Work Design NOW and we know that the conversation will yield smart and practical ideas. We’re looking forward to the presenters sharing what worked, what didn’t, and what they’d do differently if they could do it all over. This is useful stuff, especially if you’re about to embark on changes in your own workplace.

Here’s the original video, shot shortly after the project was completed:

The event is AIA/CES certified, and the learning objectives include:

  • How GSK successfully implemented prototypes and pilot studies to engage their employees in a change management program that helped to make the transition to a new work environment more comfortable for employees.
  • What GSK has measured in post-occupancy surveys, the results of those surveys, and how/if they are acting on those results.
  • The anecdotes and soft metrics that weren’t anticipated but have emerged over the first year in the new space.
  • What GSK would do the same and what they would do differently now that they’ve been in the space for one year.

We hope you’ll be able to join us! Tickets are available here. If you have any questions, please email Katie Sargent, our PR, marketing, and events coordinator at [email protected].
