James Calder, Principal, Calder Consultants

James is a practitioner, facilitator, author, and part-time educator interested in all facets of the strategy, design, and use of the workplace. He has extensive experience in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific with the world’s preeminent organizations across most business sectors including extensive experience with the public sector. James has developed workplace strategies for lawyers, accountants, management consultants, media and technology organizations, investment banks, retail banks, government departments and agencies, and universities. He also works for developers and owners of real estate to design the next generation of buildings for the information age.

Gordon Graylish, Vice President Sales and Marketing Group and General Manager, Enterprise Solution Sales Division, Intel Corporation

Gordon is vice president of the Sales and Marketing Group and general manager of the Enterprise Solution Sales division at Intel Corporation. The mission of Enterprise Solution Sales is to work with the world’s largest enterprises and governments and create business value through the effective adoption of information technology best practices and innovative use of technology. Gordon’s expertise includes the areas of technological development, the disruptive impact of technology and the affect these have on corporate strategies and society. Prior to Intel, Gordon held a number of positions in systems sales and marketing for Burroughs and IBM.

Rosemary Kirkby, Partner, Future of Work

As principal of her own consultancy, Rosemary combines her experience in cultural change with design to lead the development of multi-award-winning workplaces including Campus MLC, Challenger head office in Sydney, NAB headquarters in Docklands and, more recently, GPT’s Sydney and Melbourne workplaces. Rosemary has more than thirty years of experience working with chief executive officers, chief financial officers, and human resources directors in the property and financial services sectors, identifying and responding to cultural shifts and changing market conditions, community and employee expectations. She spent three years as head of change and sustainability for the GPT Group before returning to Rosemary Kirkby & Associates.

Amanda Martin, Principal Consultant Melbourne Business School

Amanda leads the measurement of impact for the MBS-Mt Eliza executive education programs as the Principal Consultant Learning Impact. Understanding impact is fundamental to ensuring high quality executive education is delivered to program participants and their organizations. Amanda is also a highly experienced program designer, facilitator, and executive coach. She developed the Leadership Toolkit, Leadership in Action, and Leadership Foundations programs delivered to more than 5,200 people. She most recently designed the premier senior executive service leadership and induction programs for the Australian Public Service.

Roger Macmorran, Project Director – 700 Bourke Street Project, Commercial Network Services, Group Business Services, National Australia Bank

Prior to joining NAB in 2010, Roger worked with Lend Lease for 12 years in the UK, Continental Europe & Australia. Roger developed Lend Lease’s emerging markets business in Eastern Europe that saw their Russia operation grow rapidly to a 250 person business. With Lend Lease in Australia, Roger directed CBD projects including the retail / commercial redevelopment of 420 George Street. Roger’s primary focus is on creating great places and spaces and aligning property requirements with business strategy.

Hayden Perkin, Workplace Program Manager, Real Estate & Workplace Services, Google Asia-Pacific

Hayden’s role at Google allows him to help create the world’s most fun and engaging workplace environment, with the goal to attract and retain the best employees (aka “Googlers”) and ensure they are happy, healthy, and productive. With a background spanning architecture, workplace strategy, psychology, change management, research, sales and marketing, Hayden is a passionate researcher and speaker about the world of workplace, technology, and behavior.

Simon Pole, Principal, Woods Bagot

Simon is one of Woods Bagot’s workplace leaders and utilizes his international experience to provide alternate solutions, “challenging the norm” to leverage his clients’ competitive advantage via creative work styles combined with brand enhancing concepts. As a Leader of Interior Design, he has extensive experience in leading and delivering high quality, complex, large and small scale projects in both the private and public sector. He has led firms through difficult relocation programs and has provided platforms and ideas that have changed the way businesses do business. Simon adopts an alternative approach and values diversity of ideas through collaboration of various talents to produce inspiring results.

Frank Rexach, Vice President and General Manager at Haworth

Frank Rexach is Vice President and General Manager, Haworth Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Based in the company’s regional headquarters in Shanghai, China, Frank oversees operations for Haworth throughout the growth markets. Frank’s focus is on developing new business models and strategies that support the co-creation of spaces designed to adapt as client needs evolve.

Philip Ross, Futurologist & CEO, Cordless Group & UNWORK

Philip is an author, consultant, and commentator specializing in the future of work. He predicts the way that new trends and forces such as emerging technology will shape how we work, live, learn, and enjoy leisure. He has written a number of books on the future of cities, work and workplace including The Creative Office, The 21st Century Office, and Space to Work (all co-authored with Jeremy Myerson). He has also contributed to a number of other books including the Corporate Fool and the Responsible Workplace.

Julian Waters-Lynch, PhD Candidate, RMIT University & Holos Group

Julian is a futurist, organizational strategist, designer, and facilitator of experiences that catalyze learning and development. Julian’s PhD research on the future of work explores the disruptive rifts in technology and social trends that are shaping the new economy. His thesis focuses on the new skills and environments required to support sustained collaboration and innovation in a rapidly changing marketplace. Julian’s international work history across Latin America and Asia, and with the key drivers and worldviews of millennial leaders, has afforded tangible insights into how younger generations and emerging regions will shape the 21st century.
