Cheryl Durst is the Executive Vice President and CEO of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). Here are her thoughts:

Design is a key and critical determinate not just for the future of the workplace, but for culture and for society.Technology and demographics have escalated and defined the “size, shape, and volume” of what is defined as either “chaos” or “change” in our world.

Design remains as the probable force that allows humans to contend with and live within those sweeping changes. Design clarifies, simplifies, and makes sense of the world around us.
